Client Feedback

Here are some comments from recent clients:
"Graham photographed our son's recent wedding with such insight and vision that, as well as owning a beautifully realised pictorial record of a very wonderful day, we have a story in every picture. His calm and easy manner instilled confidence and cooperation so that the group photographs truly reflect the joy we all felt. Not a single important element of the day escaped Graham's busy, yet sensitive, discreet and unobtrusive lens. He was tireless in capturing all the moods and moments from a thoughtful expression on a face at the wedding service to an energetic line of dancers galloping towards him during the evening (getting the shot before moving swiftly out of their path!). Above all he has reflected our son's love for and delight in his lovely wife and hers for him in images of outstanding quality and resolution. For this and for so much more besides he has our grateful thanks."

"Thank you for the wonderful Album of the photographs you took at our recent 65th Wedding Anniversary Party – all greatly admired by family and friends.
Beautifully presented with amazing photographs displaying the special skill you have of getting every member in a group looking their very best – and all taken in an unobtrusive way. Your professionalism and friendly approach from the initial briefing to the finished product was greatly appreciated and to be highly recommended. This is the second function where you’ve done a great job for us – we shall most certainly call on you again in the future."

"Graham photographed both our wedding days (registry and themed) and pre-wedding shoot and was an absolute delight to work with. He put so much effort into making sure the photos were what we wanted, even running ideas and photo effects past us for our themed wedding which he had done in his own time. He and his wife, Olive, made the whole process of taking photos so much fun and we cannot stop smiling. Looking through them they are beyond what we could have hoped for!"

"As soon as we spoke to Graham on the phone, we were impressed by his friendly manner and the fact that he really seemed to care about the things that were important to us when hiring a photographer for our Wedding. We were really impressed at his offer to meet us at our chosen venue in order to take some test shots, so that we could get an idea of how he works on the day. Even more important was the fact that nothing seemed to be too much trouble! Following our meeting we were able to view Graham's work and make a decision from there. How could we not go with someone with so much passion for what he does and at a good price too! Graham and his wife Olive work as a team and they really were a delightful couple to be around! On the day, everything went seamlessly, so much so that they might as well have been guests! They both worked really hard for us and we were almost sad to see them go! As someone with very high standards, I can honestly say we experienced wonderful customer service from a totally lovely couple who take great pride in what they do...."

"Graham made us feel at ease. We had a personal touch throughout the day and apart from the posed photos we didn't see him taking photos. The natural shots were fantastic. We loved our photos and the personalised DVDs. Highly recommended. Thank you again."

'It was wonderful to have Graham taking photos at our recent VOCES8 concert with students from the John Lyon School. He takes great pictures and knows how to get them without disrupting the concert in any way! Perfect!'
- Paul Smith - Director of Voces8 (A Capella Group) - Concert at St Mary's Church, Harrow-on-the-Hill and Evensong at St. Pauls Cathedral with the John Lyon Motet Choir

"As a mother with a busy family of four children (including a new-born), two dogs and a global-travelling-husband, I thought I would never get anyone one to stay still for long enough to get their portrait taken. Then I comissioned Graham to help "immortalise" our family. I can’t recommend Graham enough; he did separate portraits of all the children, as well as family photos. With a combination of Graham’s easy going manner and state of the art equipment, we soon had some smashing photos of the whole family. He made the photo shoot a fun and relaxing time and was able to set up the studio in the comfort of our own home. In addition to this the photos were of a very high resolution and quality, as well as being ready within three days of the shoot. An excellent experience, great value for money, resulting in some very professional prints."

"Thank you so much for the photographs of our Diamond Wedding Anniversary Party at Phyllis Court. We are absolutely delighted with them and their presentation in the album is superb and has been greatly admired by friends & family alike. You obtained such great photographs so unobtrusively and it was a treat to find a photographer for once who carried out his client’s wishes so professionally. Pictures, presentation and personal service throughout – absolutely first class."

"Graham had already taken excellent photos at two of our daughters’ weddings and recently repeated the process for our eldest daughter. Not only does he take very good formal photos with an eye to background details and setting, but he also immortalises the informal moments with complete discretion."
Jennifer van den Heuvel

"We were delighted with the pictures of our daughter’s wedding. They combined some excellent portraits with a wonderful informal record that really captured a special day."
Kate & Tom Wickson

"Graham’s relaxed approach made us both feel at ease in front of the camera. Not only did we have some lovely formal photos but also lots of fabulous informal ones of friends and family – all taken in an unintrusive manner. Having Graham as our photographer on our special day helped it to run smoothlyand we would highly recommend him."

"Black Dyke Band were delighted to see your excellently clear and atmospheric photos from Harrow School. For us, they represent the ideal combination of our core values – personal studies of individual soloists combined with that group identity which is so important to our musical history."
Professor Philip Wilby, Black Dyke Band

“Graham has photographed several of our gigs now and he has really managed to capture in both colour and black and white the essence of what our band is about; you feel that you are at the gig and can hear the music. We have been really impressed”
Tim Blanchard, sax player with Clarence King and the Regents

“Both of my siblings spent significantly more on their wedding photos and everyone agrees that ours, by far, are the best. Not only that the formal photos were totally stress-free. Graham did not spend hours lining everyone up in rigid poses. The result was more natural than standard wedding shots. Graham has a great manner and knows that a wedding day is not all about endlessly posing for photos. If you are enjoying your special day, his photos will reflect that.”
Lesley & Neil Pankhurst

"Thank you Graham for all you did in making our special day at Risley Hall truly brilliant. It really was a most wonderful occasion we all enjoyed. You captured us and our family & friends perfectly. You snapped the most intimate to the most raucous moments allowing us to re-live those most precious moments over and over. We made most of your photos into a book and given them to our parents. I believe our wedding day was made all the better for you being there not just as a photographer but welcomed guest. Your photos are a beautiful reminder of how much we enjoyed our day and continue to love & enjoy each other."
Rachael & Joseph Grant.

"Graham's service was excellent. My children were put completely at ease which allowed photographs to be taken in natural poses as opposed to being staged. They had a great time playing around with bubbles and showing off their toys which made for some excellent shots. We would highly recommend this superb service."
